New Year's day barbeque

To kick start the new year, the office decided to get together for a barbeque at Zhili's home @ Goodman Road. It didn't start off well because of the rain, but luckily their humongous home had a porch that sheltered us and the pit from the rain.  Did I mention that we (the office) don't exactly have a good reputation with barbeques around the Tanjong Rhu area?  We have had about 4 barbeques at Alan's condo and I think it rained 3 times. So now  you know what I mean...

Here's the highlight of the day:

After eating, we were brought on a tour of the Gay abode.. (okay, let me clarify.. this IS a surname..) It has 3 levels with Zhili & Alvin taking the top level.  There's a foozball table, a mini studio for Alvin's band and their bedroom.

This is interesting.. behind the LOVE wall is this walk-in wardobe. Its got a quirky feel, like you're entering into another dimension with the slanted ceiling and pink wall at the end.
